Races of the Week

Last week, Tend finished fifth in the Breeders' Futurity. The Tin Man finished second in the Clement Hirsch Turf Championship, paying $2.20 to place and $2.10 to show. Sarasponda won the John W. Galbreath Memorial Stakes, paying $12.20 to win, $4.20 to place, and $3.80 to show. Perfectly Played ran ninth in the Best of Ohio Juvenile. Ben's Reflection finished second in the Best of Ohio Sprint, paying $4.80 to place and $3.80 to show. The entry of Bright Pyrite and Pay the Man finished second and third in the Best of Ohio Distaff, paying $2.10 to place and $2.10 to show. Catlaunch finished third in the Best of Ohio Endurance, paying $2.10 to show.

This week, the Daily Racing Form's races of the week are the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland and the Oak Tree Derby at Santa Anita.

In the Queen Elizabeth II, I'll bet Sharp Susan, who has won multiple graded stakes at a mile and an eight on the turf. The Form provides free past performances.

My selection in the Oak Tree Derby is Ten a Penny. There's not much early speed in today's race, and Ten A penny could benefit from a slow pace. His recent Beyer figures are competitive with the rest of this field. The Form provides free past performances.
