Last week, Doctor Dino finished fifth in the Canadian International. Shakis finished second in the Shadwell Turf Mile, paying $5.20 to place and $3.40 to show. Slides Choice finished second in the John W. Galbreath Stakes, paying $2.10 to place and $2.10 to show. Pforperfectpistol finished fifth in the Best of Ohio Sprint. Raise the Reward finished second in the Best of Ohio Juvenile, paying $3.20 to place and $2.80 to show. Cryptoquip finished second in the Best of Ohio Distaff, paying $4.40 to place and $3.40 to show. Catlaunch won the Best of Ohio Endurance, paying $5.80 to win, $4.40 to place, and $3.60 to show.

Today, the Daily Racing Form's races of the week are the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland and the Athenia Handicap at Belmont Park.

My selection in the Queen Elizabeth II is Sefroua. Sefroua finished third against older mares in her only start in North America. She gets first-time lasix today. There's not much early speed in today's race and her past performances show a couple of front-running victories. The Form provides free past performances. Criminologist looks like a deserving favorite in the Athenia. The Form provides free past performances. Brisnet.com past performances are available via Graham Motion.
