Races of the Week
Last week, Stormello won the Hollywood Futurity, paying $8.80 to win, $4.60 to place, and $3.80 to show. Royal Highness was scratched from La Prevoyante Handicap.
This week, the races of the week are the Bonapaw Stakes at the Fair Grounds and the Squan Song Stakes at Laurel.
In the Bonapaw, I'll pick Chosen Chief. The only experienced turf sprinter in the race, Chosen Chief comes off a bullet work at the Fair Grounds. The Form provides free past performances.
My selection in the Squan Song is Mint Landing. She's never gone 7 furlongs before, but her Tomlinson rating indicates that she'll probably like the distance. I also think the pace will set up well for her. The Form provides free past performances.

I love your picks of the week. It's a regular series that I never miss.
How good do you think Mystery Classic might be? Sure, you can say "who's he beat", but he's been super solid. If he keeps this up he's going to be one of the best texas breds of all time. Today's a big litmus test for him, but I've gotta respect that winning streak, and his solid turf effort in June at Lone Star.
